Hi, I"m hoping someone might have a suggestion on getting nukenews data out of one installation and into another. I have had no success just upgrading from DNN 4.02 to 4.3.3 and am needing to build portals using the DNN import/export functionality. When I do this, the NukeNews modules are there but have not articles in them. Thanks for any tips, Stephen

I don't know and am just shooting in the dark here, but check the database and see if the articles and categories are there and make sure the categories have the correct module ID. Check the Orizonti_NukeNews_Category table. Each category is module specific. I suspect that your new installation has assigned a different moculeID to the NukeNews module.

I too need to be able to export news articles and import them back into another site. I have 106 news articles that I need to transfer to a new site. I thought about using the NukeFeeds module to pull from the old site, but the old site will be going away after the new site is live, so that's not an option. Any help with getting all my news articles into a new site (without having to re-key everything) would be greatly appreciated.

Still here... You can do this pretty easily with some "creative" sql... You just need to "map" the previous moduleIDs with the new ones and then run a simple SQL transfer... Thanks, Russel

Ugh. I'm a graphic designer who knows nothing about working with sql. But thanks for getting back to us on this. I appreciate it.

Perhaps a walkthrough/tutorial would be in order. I have 20+ years of programming experience but I've never done sql. I have no desire to learn either. :-) Thanks for your efforts and a good product. Cheers Gord
