Andre,

I don't see anything wrong with the feed.  I found this link on google:

http://www.dotnet247.com/247reference/msgs/40/200434.aspx

I haven't seen this error before, but you may want to try the suggested change to your web.config.  What version of DNN are you running???

Thanks,

Russel

Played around with the trust element and setting it to Full with the correct originURL crashes complette DNN

Andre,

Looks like this is an issue with Microsoft's implementation of code access security.

Try commenting out the trust line completely.

Take a look at these forum posts:

This is a pretty good one:

Let me know if this helps...

Solved!

The problem decribed occured also with the standard RSS module of DNN. What I did to solve the problem... removed/commented out the following line in the web.config file

On my development PC and production server this actions leads to crashing/not starting the complete website. This is an issue with ASP.NET and trust modes.

You have to restart IIS (very handy some friends at the ISP ;-)) to affect the changes and the module works as expected. Restarting only the virtual website didn't resolve the problem.

Hi Andre.

I am not quite sure what you did to fix this. As I see it the trust level sentence in the web.config file is allready commented out in DNN 3.1.1

I have the exact same problem and I getting this error:

Request for the permission of type System.Net.WebPermission, System, Version=1.0.5000.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089 failed.

I have a hosted site and can not just restart the IIS service. Anyone got a solution or should I just accept that Nuke Feeds are not working?

Best regards
Jan

Jan,

The problem isn't with NukeFeeds specifically, but with any module that is trying to go out and retrieve information via http. As Andre stated, he had the same problem with the core News (RSS) module. You may not need a total IIS restart. If you've already made the change to remove or upgrade the trust level, then I would ask your hosting provider to run a restart on just your website and see if that fixes the problem for you...

Let them know what you've changed and they should be able to work with you...

Let me know if you have any other questions...

Thanks,
Russel
