Hi Great module, good work. One feature I would like enhanced is the display order in forums. I run a football site for kid divided into age groups. My gallery categories are thus: U8 Falcons U10 Raiders U12 Belles U12 Spears U13 United .... etc If I order by name then the order is U10, U12, U13, U8. U8 appears at the bottom whereas they should be at the top logically because they are the youngest. I could go in and set different dates for the categories and sort by date but it is clunky with 20 or 30 teams. If a new team starts up then I may have to reset all the dates to make room for them. Any chance of being able to specify the order in the same way as the DNN Pages Module maybe? Thx Hugh.

Hugh, First, thanks for the support... I'm deep in development of version 2 of MG and it will support a "sort order" which will allow you to order items any way you'd like. This will be for Gallery listings, categories and individual items... Let me know if you have any other suggestions/questions... Thanks, Russel

I have noticed also that when I load a zip there is no way to control the order of photos. I like that if the photos name is DSC_1693.JPG DSC_1694.JPG DSC_1695.JPG then the name and the order will remain the same. Let me know if I'm missing something ....

I'm adding an option in v2 to allow the name of the file to be used as the image name... I think that will take care of this... Let me know if you have any other questions... thanks, Russel

I've actually had a couple of projected dates that I've missed already. Just taking longer than I expected. I'm hoping to start beta testing in a couple of weeks... Let me know if you have any other questions... Thanks, Russel

Great module. I suggest Ver 2.0 gives the administrator the ability to show/hide the image name within the thumbnail list. Maybe even an option to show/hide the title on the detail view. The reason is because otherwise the admin has to rename every picture since the names are generic/generated. Or sometimes you just don't want to show the name.

No problem... V2 of Media Gallery is completely "templated". This allows you to include/exclude any items and format the dispaly any way you may want to. Thanks, Russel
