Hi

We use nukenews on an intranet and a colleague would like to publish a newsletter monthly. Now it would be cool if the newsletter module integrated with nukenews so you could mark stories for inclusion in a news letter, then place the titles/summaries in an HTML template with links back to the original news stories in nukenews. It would be even better if you could optionally use am MS Exchange distribution list/address book to send the HTML e-mail.

Am I asking too much? Is this possible? How much time and money would it take to develop something like this?

Actually, that functionality is already in the works for v2 of NukeNews...

Thanks,

That would be GREAT!!!

Can I emphasize the need to order news stories in the resulting newsletter, maybe have the option to define a template and full support for HTML mail via Exchange so that mailing groups from Outlook could be used?

When is version 2 ready? Gimme now!!! :o)

No specific launch date, but it's under development. Right now, it's looking like right after the first of the year. Will have some great new features... On the dnn version, you should be ok this time around, but this will probably be the last version that will work on 3.2.2. The core has really been changing and I plan on taking advantage of some of the new core features with the module...

Thanks,
Russel
