Hello, I am attempting to get your newsletter module to work - but no luck. My DNN Version: 4.0.3 The Newsletter version: Orizonti.Newsletter-1.2 Downloaded on: 1/30/07 I have created a newsletter and selected various email options: - I have one user in the subscriber list (my alternate email addrss) - I have tried it with and without the admin user role - I have tried it with and without other DNN user roles Each time, I get the same error: A critical error has occurred. Method not found: 'System.Collections.ArrayList DotNetNuke.Security.Roles.RoleController.GetUserRolesByRoleName(Int32, System.String)'. Can you help get this sucker to work? Thanks, Jim

Jim, I think we swapped email about this already... But for everyone else, the problem is with the DNN version. The DNN core has been changed since 4.0.3 and that method doesn't exist in that DNN version. You can try 1.1 of the Newsletter module or I would highly recommend upgrading your DNN install... I am also using 3.2.2 and the latest newsletter module. I get this error when sending a newsletter. What options do i have other than upgrading to a .net 2.0 version of dnn?

1.2 will not work with 3.2.2. You need to either install 1.1 or upgrade you DNN. I would recommend upgrading DNN...

ok, so i've upgraded to 3.3.7 and am no longer getting the error. Now when i click send, it says it was sent, but i never get the email. I have verified that the SMTP settings are correct (i get emails when new users sign up) and i have also uninstalled/reinstalled the newsletter module after upgrading to 3.3.7. thoughts?
