I am getting an error whenever I try to send a newsletter: A critical error has occurred. Method not found: 'System.Collections.ArrayList DotNetNuke.Security.Roles.RoleController.GetUserRolesByRoleName(Int32, System.String)'. Newsletter installed on DNN 4.0.3, newsletter v. 1.2 Any help that does not require me upgrading DNN would be great - I'm on a remote host and it's kind of a pain to upgrade. Thanks

Me too!!! Help I am running on this site DNN version 3.2.2 I don't see the answer to this probem in this string, just requests for help.

We're in the process of fixing the Newsletter module to work on DNN 4.3x or newer... Including fixing the existing TextEditor bug for 4.6x... We have no plans to support DNN versions older than DNN 4.3.x... Thanks, Russel

I too am having the "texteditor" error with the 4.07 version. I notice there is a new version (4.08) of DNN. If I upgrade, will it fix the newsletter problem, make it worse, or have no effect? Thanks.

Probably make it worse, but this might resolve your issue. go to freetextbox.com download the latest version (not the beta) and then go into framework 2.0 and grab the freetextbox.dll. Then copy that to your dnn/bin folder and it should work. Although I see an issue with the file attachment, it won't allow me to add one so I'm not sure if I'm missing something.
