I tried hiding the First Name and Last Name fields by adding the visible="false" attribute to the <asp:TextBox lines in the viewNewsletter.ascx file. That hid those lines successfully, but when I tried to do a test sign-up my e-mail address was not added to the Newsletter Users list. I then tried signing in after replacing the .ascx file with the default code and found that it only adds names to the list if all three fields are filled in. What can I do to make the First Name and Last Name not be required, or otherwise get the module to work if it is stripped to just asking for the e-mail address?

This is a hack, but should work. Keep the fields non-visible and put a space as the default for each field. That should pass the validation and allow you to submit the addresses.

Thanks,
Russel
