Hi! I want use this module for people who don't speak/read english. How can I change the word "Dear name..." from the body of the message? Thanks Best regards, Gladi

Hi, you can change the word Dear, in the (ADMIN>Languages) language editor. Go to: \admin\Users\App_LocalResources\BulkEmail.ascx.resx Kind regards, Breuk

Changing the BulkEmail resource file doesn't help. I created a nl-NL version and even deleted the original resource file and still 'Dear' and 'Click here to unsubscribe' are shown in the sent newsletter. Is there anybody who found a solution to change the above mentioned words to your own locale? Regards, Jos Walrave

Jos, The newsletter module is not currently localized. That is planned for the next release. I don't have a release date for the next version. Thanks, Russel

Jos, Sorry... I wrote the module... It's not localized, and that text is in the code. In order to change it, you'll need to wait until it's localized or change the source code to meet your needs... Thanks, Russel

The "Dear problem" ... You can use ORIZONTI NEWSLETTER to control de subscrition and cancel subscriton, and use the free software http://www.vallen.de/freeware/ to send the newsletter (transform you newsletter_user table in TXT file). It is my solution in www.lojadenegocios.com

Hi, Why not just remove the word "Dear"? It has no use other than anoying the non english users. The "Click here to unsubscribe: " link does not bother me... i just add my version to the english version. But please.... if you can... remove the word "Dear" ... and we will put our own greeting at the top :) For later changes... it would be nice if one could choose the name in the greeting, i.e. last name or first name in stead of the email. Hi! Has anyone yet found a way to change the word "dear"? Can I change it in the code in he ascx pages or something, or do I need the source code? I would really appreciate it if someone could help me with this problem. Thanks, Jasper
