8/02/2010 3:46 PM Alert
I'm having a problem where the notification and forward e-mails are not populating the link to the article.

My e-mail template is the default:

[Title]<br><br>[Summary]<br><br>[ReadMoreLink]

but the e-mail message body is just plain text:

Test news item title

Test news item summary

Same problem when I e-mail a link to an article from the e-mail button on the article - but the e-mail says:

A friend has sent you the following article link to visit. Article:

without a link.

Help, please!!

I'm having a similar (but not entirely identical) problem.
The message is being sent as plain text, with us-ascii encoding, meaning that no HTML or international characters are allowed.

As a result, I get this kind message:

A friend has sent you the following article link to visit.<BR><BR>Article: <br><a href=/Default.aspx?tabid=108&mid=455&newsid455=20>View Article</a>

Additional problems:
1. The href attribute value is not enclosed in quotes
2. This is a relative link, but we need an absolute one when using it in an email.

I'm using 2.1.4. Have all these problems been fixed in 2.1.5 or later versions or do I have to get the source in order to correct the problem?
